Equipment manufacturer SynPower (6658-TW), now part of Taiwan’s semiconductor national team, officially opened its new Taoyuan Zhongli Operations Headquarters (Xinsheng Plant) today. With an investment of more than NT$1.1 billion, the new facility welcomed many distinguished guests at the opening ceremony, including Taoyuan Mayor Chang San-cheng and TPCA Chairman and Unimicron Chairman Chang Yuan-ming, demonstrating SynPower’s key position in the PCB and semiconductor supply chains.
Core Deployment: The new plant will fully advance SynPower’s R&D capabilities in AI machine vision, advanced automation, and smart processes. Designed in accordance with green building standards, the new plant integrates R&D, demonstration, and production functions. It focuses on equipment applications for advanced fields such as semiconductors and IC substrates, comprehensively increasing the share of self-developed equipment.
SynPower’s key shareholders include Gallant Precision Machining (6438-TW) and Zhen Ding-KY (4958-TW). In recent years, SynPower has successfully expanded from PCB intelligent automation equipment into semiconductor wafer inspection and measurement equipment, with strong technical capabilities in PCB smart manufacturing integration and semiconductor back-end packaging and testing. In addition, SynPower has joined hands with Gallant and Kuo Chiao (4542-TW) to develop opportunities in Thailand and Southeast Asia, positioning itself for major global supply chain integration.
Chairman Lin Wen-bin stated, “The opening of the headquarters represents our commitment to delivering excellent service to global customers. With the vision of becoming a ‘sustainable contributor to smart manufacturing technology integration’, SynPower will integrate optical, software, mechanical, and control technologies to build the trusted proprietary brand ‘AVRIOT’, and work with partners to create a new chapter for the industry.”
In addition to technological innovation, SynPower also practices ESG social responsibility. The company continues its long-standing public welfare commitment by supporting local social welfare organizations in Taoyuan and adopting patrol duties for the Laojie River to promote environmental protection.
Looking ahead, SynPower will continue to create maximum value for shareholders, employees, and partners under a culture of self-discipline, trust, and shared good, moving steadily toward a sustainable future.
