SynPower Launches AVRIOT Industrial Metaverse Solution

SynPower participated in the 2021 TPCA SHOW on Dec. 21 and introduced its industrial metaverse “AVRIOT” total solution. On the first day of the exhibition, Taoyuan Mayor Cheng Wen-tsan visited the booth in person.
Starting from inspection equipment, SynPower has actively pursued vertical integration in recent years. Its offerings have expanded from advanced inspection equipment to advanced equipment, customized wet processes, and AIoT applications, providing a variety of whole-plant solutions for the industry.

At the show, SynPower presented a 3D simulation war room integrated with MR mixed-reality applications, providing intuitive operational management functions such as operation manuals, remote maintenance, future yield prediction, current-status monitoring, and historical data analysis, breaking through the framework of linear time. SynPower President Mickey Chen said that “AVRIOT” represents flexible combinations of AR, VR, VIoT, VI, IoT, and OT. Based on each company’s level of digitalization and specific needs, SynPower provides different smart manufacturing solutions for the industry, and several companies have already approached SynPower for implementation.
 
Mickey Chen said that SynPower’s greatest difference from other companies in promoting smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 is that it starts from the perspective of an inspection equipment provider, then advances toward equipment automation (EAP) and connects through IoT to manufacturing execution systems such as MES and ERP, integrating information across different stages. SynPower has also received support and recognition from the AIoT technology project for three consecutive years.

SynPower currently focuses on three main areas: advanced inspection equipment, customized wet processes, and AVRIOT. These solutions help the industry introduce smart manufacturing, integrate cross-department communication gaps caused by information asymmetry, and truly improve yield and production capacity.

In addition, SynPower’s technical collaboration with the Industrial Technology Research Institute in smart manufacturing has achieved concrete results. The “AI defect image classification technology” enables visual defect inspection equipment to have self-learning capabilities, achieving an identification accuracy of more than 97% and accurately determining the types of circuit board appearance defects.

Chen noted that ITRI has strong artificial intelligence capabilities. Through the smart technology project guided by ITRI, AI can be used for production-parameter prediction and optimization. The two sides will continue to deepen their collaboration and bring tangible quality-control benefits to circuit board manufacturers.
