SynPower Chairman Alan Lin commissioned the Taiwan Printed Circuit Association Environmental Foundation (TPCF) to sponsor a prone stander for the Qishan Early Intervention Development Center for Children. This assistive device mainly helps children with poor head, neck, and trunk control or insufficient proximal stability, such as children with cerebral palsy or intellectual disabilities, by providing trunk and lower-limb support for rehabilitation. The donation supports local early-intervention services and helps children with developmental delays in rural Kaohsiung overcome challenges earlier and reduce future barriers in daily life.

Although Qishan is located in a suburban area, it once had a prosperous history during the agricultural era before gradually declining with the arrival of the industrial era. Chairman Lin, who was born in Qishan, left for a major city to study and build his career during high school, yet he has never forgotten the development of his hometown. Seeing that Qishan still faces gaps in medical and educational resources compared with urban areas, Chairman Lin responded immediately after learning through TPCF about the needs of the Qishan Early Intervention Development Center for Children and generously funded this project.

Chairman Lin has emerged as a new-generation leader in the electronics industry, yet he continues to devote himself to public welfare despite his busy schedule. In addition to participating every year in TPCF’s assistive-device donation program for children receiving early intervention, he has also independently supported institutions for disadvantaged children and children with disabilities, including Ruth Education and Care Center, for more than ten years.
