Sustainable Supply Chain
01 Sustainable Supply Chain Strategy
From Supply Stability to Responsible Sourcing
SynPower regards supply chain management as an important part of sustainable corporate operations. In addition to ensuring supply stability, quality, and delivery performance, the Company is progressively incorporating environmental and social responsibility considerations into supplier management and procurement decisions. Through systematic supplier evaluation, responsibility commitments, local procurement, and risk management, SynPower continues to strengthen supply chain resilience and create long-term sustainable value together with its business partners.
Local procurement ratios are based on the top 30 suppliers by procurement amount in 2025, of which 15 were local suppliers.
02 Responsible Sourcing and Supplier Commitment
Supplier Responsibility Commitment
With reference to international standards including the Responsible Business Alliance Code of Conduct (RBA Code of Conduct), the International Labour Organization Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, and the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, SynPower established its “Supplier Code of Conduct and Corporate Responsibility Commitment.” Supplier compliance with the commitment is incorporated into procurement decisions and supplier evaluations.
Four Areas of Responsibility
The commitment covers employees of suppliers, environmental responsibility, business ethics, and supplier management, extending sustainability requirements to business partners and jointly reducing environmental and social risks across the supply chain.
03 Supplier Evaluation and Tiered Management
Supplier Selection
Suppliers are assessed based on quality management, product inspection, delivery capability, cost control, regulatory compliance, and collaboration capability.
Annual Evaluation
Supplier evaluations are conducted regularly to monitor cooperation quality, operational performance, and sustainability-related risks.
Tiered Management
Suppliers are classified and managed according to evaluation results, which serve as an important basis for procurement, cooperation, and supplier management decisions.
Improvement and Follow-up
Suppliers that do not meet required standards are requested to implement corrective measures within a specified period. Their progress is continuously monitored, and cooperation may be adjusted or terminated where necessary.
04 Critical Materials and Supply Chain Risk
Critical Materials and Supply Risk
The Company continuously manages supply risks associated with critical raw materials that are specified by customers or cannot readily be substituted. Through supplier management, supply arrangements, and alternative-source assessments, SynPower seeks to reduce the operational impact of price volatility and potential supply disruptions.
Supply Stability and Responsible Sourcing
SynPower continuously monitors the supply conditions and source risks of major raw materials while incorporating responsible sourcing requirements into supply chain management. In 2025, the supply of major raw materials remained stable, with no major raw material shortages and no conflict mineral incidents identified.
05 Local and Green Procurement
Supporting Local Suppliers and Reducing Transportation Impacts
SynPower continues to select qualified suppliers in Taiwan and promote localization of its original-equipment and in-house equipment supply chains. Local procurement primarily includes machined parts, sheet-metal parts, hardware components, optical components, electronic components, and general supplies. While maintaining quality and supply stability, local procurement helps reduce the environmental impact associated with long-distance transportation and supports the development of local industries.
Green Procurement Practices
In 2025, SynPower collaborated for the first time with a benchmark zero-carbon brand and procured sustainable products as corporate public-relations gifts. Through actual procurement, the Company supports local green brands and extends sustainability principles into daily operations and external engagement.
